以前FC2ブログでサブカテゴリが使えないという話を書きました。
そこでいろいろなブログを見て回りましたが、
大半の無料ブログサービスでサブカテゴリがサポートされていませんでした。
なるほどFC2ブログがケチっているわけではなさそうです。
ただ技術者視点から見ると何が問題で
サブカテゴリがサポートされていないのか理由がよくわからないのです。
そこで巷のブログエンジンを自分で試してみることにしました。
詳細は省きますが、僕はMovableType(以下MT)と
WordPress(以下WP)というエンジンを試してみました。
そしてそのどちらのエンジンでもサブカテゴリが使用できました。
さて次に気になったのはブログデータの互換性についてです。
少し調べてみたところ、
FC2←MT→WP
のようにMTからはFC2およびWPのどちらに対しても
データの移行が可能なようです。
FC2ではMT→FC2の変換ツールは提供しているものの、
FC2→MTの逆変換ツールは提供していません。
が駄目もとでFC2のバックアップデー(管理画面でデータのバックアップ)を
MTでインポートしてみたところ正常にインポートできました。

これからどのように文章を書き残していくかを
